Job description
Charterhouse are working exclusively with an international professional services organisation who are looking to hire a Head of Events to join their team in Doha, Qatar. This pivotal role will plan and oversee all aspects of corporate events on behalf of the business to build brand awareness and increase client engagement.
About the role

The Head of Events will be tasked with building the annual events calendar in collaboration with cross functional teams to ensure all business objective are delivered.
This role will handle everything from the development of event concepts, researching venues, providing detailed proposals and negotiating prices and hire with vendors. In addition, the Head of Events will work closely alongside the sales and marketing team to advertise and promote upcoming events.
Due to the nature of the role, there will be occasions where it is required to work outside of core business hours therefore individuals must be willing to be flexible around the company’s needs, which also includes occasional travel overseas.
About you
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years professional experience working in an Events focused role, with a track record of leading corporate event planning for multinational organisations. Our client requires someone who is detail orientated with excellent project management skills and a past record in organising and overseeing a variety of world class complex events.
Proven experience in managing multiple events simultaneously, in addition to handling the entire event budget are considered essential for this role. Our client is looking for a proactive, energetic individual who has excellent relationship building skills and impeccable attention to detail. Excellent fluency in English is required, Arabic is not essential however would be highly advantageous.
