Charterhouse is working with a Local Investment Group, which owns and operates a number of subsidiaries across a range of different industries. The Group partners with local and global businesses within the Private and Public sectors. Formed in the early 2000’s they are a publicly listed company, employing in excess of 500 people.
About the role
You will partake in the development of Marketing / Communication policies and procedures and implement controls for the areas within the scope of your responsibility. You will proactively gather and analyse market intelligence and research, taking the appropriate action necessary. You will formulate and develop marketing campaigns in line with the approved marketing strategy whilst also managing social media platforms, company website and intranet portals.
In addition, you will identify, design and propose improvement initiatives based on current performance or future requirements and oversee the implementation for the areas within the scope of your responsibility.
You will also prepare press releases, publications and reports in line with the corporate governance policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in a similar role and hold a relevant bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Corporate Communications. Preference will be given to candidates holding a Master’s Degree. You must have a strong track record of marketing, advertisements and public relations within a similar business or publically traded group. You must also possess a strategic and analytical outlook and be fluent in English and Arabic both verbal and written. Due to current restrictions candidates on the ground in Qatar are preferred.
