Charterhouse is working with a leading financial services institution who is looking to hire a Senior Learning & Development Specialist with a proven track record working in a top tier investment banking/investment management firm. This is a new and exciting role where you will be responsible for ensuring all technical training and development programs are identified and delivered as per the business needs and corporate objectives.
About the role
The role will support the Learning & Development Manager in all facets relating to Qatarization, which include graduate programs, leadership development and succession planning. You will be responsible for but not limited to ensuring programs are effectively implemented from induction, planning to execution, implement a follow up and reporting process, evaluation of the graduates and confirmation as permanent employees, identifying policy improvement, tracking and monitoring programs and employee development; sourcing of relevant training programs and handling all in/out of house training logistics.
The successful candidate should have a Degree in HR or a related discipline with at least 5 years’ experience covering learning & development and training activities within a top tier investment bank/investment management firm. You should have strong time management, presentation and communication skills and have worked alongside and supported various business units in the successful development of the above graduate and development programs. CIPD would be advantageous.
