Charterhouse is working with a prestigious client who is a global leader in their field and is looking to hire an experienced, driven and proactive Office Manager who will join the team in start-up stages overseeing all office administrative tasks and external correspondence.
About the role
This is an amazing opportunity for a strong “all-rounder” Office Manager who will act as the primary local interface for the company both internal and external stakeholders as well as supporting the CEO. Your honed administration and organisational skills will be utilized to the fullest in this busy role ensuring the office runs smoothly and in-line with international company policy. Responsibilities include but are not limited to updating and maintaining compliance manuals and records ensuring the office adheres to local statutory requirement, administration of the office budget and reporting. You will also be responsible for basic accounting, IT support, office collateral and procurement management as well as health insurance administration. You will work alongside the PRO on government related issues, provide general HR support to the HR Manager and any travel logistics as and when required.
The successful candidate should be a commercially astute self-starter with outstanding presentation and communication skills who has the desire to learn and be imbedded into the organisation. You should have experience in a multinational organisation with at least 5 years’ experience in the same role along with outstanding communication skills both written and spoken in Arabic and English. You should also be able to work in a fast paced environment and should have excellent organisational and planning skills for this busy role. In addition you should have high attention to detail and be able to maintain high confidentiality with the ability to work independently and work well under pressure.
