Charterhouse is working with a newly formed holding company, which is part of a local investment group in Doha, Qatar who have investments both regionally and internationally. The portfolio of the Real Estate assets consists predominantly of Hospitality and Residential buildings. Our client is looking to hire an Investment Manager to join their Doha team, reporting directly into the CFO.
About the role
Your main role will be to oversee and manage the Holding Companies Real Estate and Hospitality business, including operational and facilities management. You will be responsible for the performance and strategy of the portfolio to help achieve the required growth. This is a pro-active role, you will communicate with supporting business units to ensure KPI’s are met and exceeded. In addition, you will communicate forecasted risks and develop mitigation plans to overcome any potential losses. You will develop new relationships and connections with key decision makers in national and local investment resources, to maximize the hospitality and reality sector in and out of Qatar.
The successful candidate will hold a relative Degree in Hospitality Management or Real Estate and possess a minimum of 15 years Hospitality and Real Estate Management experience within the GCC market. You should have strong understanding of Hospitality procedures and best practices specifically to the Qatar Hospitality market. Regional and international asset experience is advantageous. Additionally, you should have had previous experience of handling facilities management service providers. You will have excellent presentation and leadership skills, as well as be able to manage strong relationships across all levels. Candidates currently residing in Qatar will be considered as a priority
