Charterhouse Middle East are currently working with one of our Qatari client’s; whom are a leading holding and investment group. This is a newly created role, at an Analyst level, to join their investment and strategy team with a focus towards M&A and Corporate Finance coverage and transaction support.

About the role
The role shall be heavily geared towards the assessment, evaluation and identification of investment opportunities through a channel of investment due diligence and detailed financial analysis. This analysis shall include the development and running of financial models, for both scenario and investment appraisals, to support the team across all areas of market/sector research, advisory, commercial reviews and performance monitoring.

In conjunction, the Analyst shall also be focused towards deal origination, pitch presentations and marketing memorandums in the support of any negotiation and transaction execution.

About you
The client will look for a finance and/or investment professional, with a baseline of 5 years’ experience, within an investment banking (sell side) or private equity (buy side) environment. The successful candidate will hold a top-tier degree coupled with a professional qualification within either an MBA and/or CFA discipline. The client would envisage the candidate coming out of a Big 4 advisory and/or transaction services background; where applicants are able to demonstrate robust financially-based analytical skills combined with an understanding of corporate finance and investment banking transactions and the required support operations.

Ideally, the candidates shall be expected to demonstrate a working knowledge, across the full investment cycle, from origination through to execution and deal closure.

Due to the nature of the Qatar market, the client is open to candidates within the MENA and international markets, whom are open to a relocation opportunity.
