Charterhouse is working with a multinational bank based in Qatar, who is looking to hire a HNI Broker to join their team (Arabic Speaking). The successful candidate will be dealing with High Net-Worth individuals on a daily basis to execute trades and order on the client’s behalf.
About the role
As a broker, your main roles and responsibilities will include the trading of local equities and fixed income products, among other financial offerings. This involves buying and selling securities on behalf of the HNI clients, maintaining communication throughout the process, providing factual market insights without providing investment advice, and resolving customer queries.
You would also be required to work closely with the sales department in order to find and acquire new clients. You would assist them in converting leads into HNI clients by marketing the brokerage and presenting a full scope of the firm’s financial services.
To be considered for this role, the candidate should be an energetic, business orientated personality with experience dealing with local equities and fixed income products. You should hold a CISI qualification or similar investment license.
The successful candidate should also hold a Degree in finance or economics and have at least five years of work experience in relationship management or similar positions.
Three years of work experience in a brokerage firm covering UHNI and HNI clients would also be preferred. They should have extensive knowledge about QE and QFMA regulations and have well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
