Charterhouse is working with a soon to open upscale casual dining restaurant in Qatar who are looking to hire a Head Chef to lead their kitchen team and deliver the culinary vision.
About the role
Your main responsibilities will be to lead the team of 15 in the kitchen. You will oversee the opening of the restaurant and lead in training the team. The Head Chef will need to establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, manage foods costs as well as work to consistently evolve the menu. The Head chef will drive the culinary vision of the restaurant and ensure consistently quality dishes from the kitchen.
The successful candidate must have experience as a Head Chef or Outlet Chef, managing a team of 15 to 20 in an upscale casual restaurant. You must be experienced in recipe generation, being able to create new recipes to evolve and compliment the menu and further execute the vision created by the Development Chef.
Excellent communication skills are required for the Head Chef to lead the culinary team.
