Charterhouse is working with an established client who are looking to hire a Catering Operations Manager to manage large scale catering for a global event.
About the role
Your main responsibilities will be to oversee the day-to-day catering operations across multiple locations, reporting to the Project Manager you will be the hands-on face of the business on the ground.
You will be responsible for the operational delivery of non- commercial catering, ensuring the highest service level is delivered, compliances with all standard operations policies, overseeing stock rotation and keeping wastage to a minimum.
You will be required to provide on-going reports to the Project Manager in relations to budgets, inventory and progress reports.
To be considered for this role you will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Food and Beverage and or Catering Management, with solid experience managing catering operations at a large scale international of mega event.
The ideal candidate will also have experience in a large stadium and temporary hospitality venues. You will excel in customer service, a driven and flexible professional who excels in a busy environment.
This role requires excellent communication skills and a positive yet persistent attitude. Preference will be given to candidates with Middle East experience.
