Charterhouse is working with a Qatari owned diversified group who is looking to hire an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team, reporting directly to the Group CEO.
About the role
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for initiating and sustaining relations with existing and potential business partners both in Qatar, the region and beyond.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients and prospective partners from diversified businesses. You will be the first point of contact for any new opportunities spanning across all business units, including franchising and partnerships.
To be considered for this role, the candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree with additional qualifications in Sales and Marketing or a similar field. A minimum of 5 years in a consultancy role, as well as sound knowledge of market trends, especially in Qatar and the region is mandatory.
You need to be self-motivated, goal-oriented, a problem solver and confident in delivering presentations, preparing financial models, and initiating business relationships. Advanced computer skills and a strong financial understanding with excellent communication skill in English is required. Arabic is advantageous.
